Anahita is at an age to be married. So Anahita proposes a riddle contest. She will work on weaving her wedding carpet and incorporate into it a riddle. The man who can figure out the riddle will be her husband.
This book is beautifully written and includes many Iranian terms and ways of life. A very good book to read about another culture. I really enjoyed this one!
